The rowan tree is the mountain ash? ??? I never knew! I've read about rowan trees for ages (most notably the name of the original Chief Rabbit in "Watership Down", Threarah,or Lord Rowan Tree.
I've learned something today! Thanks! Now I can go to bed.
I have no idea where my first thank-you comment went, so here's another. Thank you!
So. To show my gratitude, would you like a drabble? Name up to three characters, a rating, a genre (gen, het, slash; hurt/comfort, action, etc), a setting, and one smell, taste, sound, *or* object, and I'll write one for you.
Ooh, I'd love a drabble!! That's awesome of you, Ruby! I'm a Frodo/Sam girl all the way, so that would be my pairing. Um, R rating, slash, hurt/comfort, anywhere on the quest, the sound of the wind in the trees. Will that do?
And I hope you will please let us know how the rowanberry jelly tastes when you get it. I'm very curious!
