I'm not posting this to make you all sad.
It's one of the photos that I remember best from March 11th last year. It's been on the front page of a daily newspaper and the image is burnt into my brain. It's the photo of a woman who has lost everything, everything she owned, maybe all of her family. She's lost and scared, crying inbetween rubble that the tsunami left behind.
I think it's important to remember. A lot of people have moved on already, people here. People there certainly haven't.
I think it's important to look ahead and move forward. But I want to make this entry to remember those who still suffer, the 15,850 people who died, the more than 3,287 who are still missing (and most likely will never again be found). I want to have a moment to say, I won't forget you, and I hope that the ones mourning can someday move on and find peace. Never give up!
