Ken had words to say to me.
I knew that confrontation was going. I'd countermanded his orders. I'd taken the Godphoenix out'verse against his wishes. We spoke of my decision to risk the integrity of the team. For all that fears I had as G5 and I went to Frank's America to find Joe, Ken had others.
Ken's been netdiving. He's been watching. He's been paying attention. He's noticed things I've missed.
When he outlined what it could cost our home if Ryu, Joe, and I never came back...
Then Ken spoke of the cost to Jinpei -- and to himself.
Joe's off again without telling any of us where he's gone and why.
At least G4 and G1 knew why Ryu and I were away.
I don't even have that.
No, that's not completely true. I know where Ryu is. I know where Ken is. I hear Jinpei's voice in the kitchen.
That's a lot. That's a whole lot.
