G4~ CHAPTER TWO
Part Two
It is half past midnight and Yuya is dressed in his coat and jeans, ready to go. He is still in his bedroom and is busy tying four blankets together to serve as his way of escape. Using the front door would be risky, he had decided.
Making sure that knot are tightly secured, Yuya throws it out of the balcony. He takes a deep breath and holds on, climbing down slowly but surely. Easy Yuya, you can do this, he keeps on thinking. Oh, dang it.
Yuya totally forgot that his parents' room is just below his! He can see his mother facing her back on him, sleeping soundly. Whew.
But suddenly, Makino starts to shift her position to face him! Yuya panicked and desperately tries to pull the blankets downward, yanking it so he would fall and be unseen. Come on! he shouted in his mind.
Luckily, Yuya falls down as Makino opens her eyes in wonder. She stood up slowly and peeped through the window. "I'm sure I saw something," she muttered.
Tsukasa wakes up too, sensing Makino isn't beside him. "Makino, what are you doing over there? Let's sleep."
"Nothing. It's just...I thought I saw something," Makino said.
"Don't worry. We have security, right?"
Makino shrugs. "Maybe it's just my imagination."
Down below, Yuya is lying on his face within the bushes, and he doesn't feel too good. I think I'm going to be sick, he thought as he spits out some leaves from his mouth. He starts limping towards the gate.
After what seemed like hours of pure pain, he attains his goal. "I MADE IT!" he screamed as he reached the exit.
Suddenly, the alarms of their mansion goes on. Red and blue light are all over the place. The sirens are wailing.
Yuya limps hurriedly to get away. Just great.
Let's check on Hanazawa Ryo...
Ryo carefully tip toes all over the living room, making sure his move are silent. He hates acting like this. But let's face it: If he wants to get out, he has to act psycho. I am gonna kill Yuya for this, he thought angrily.
Then suddenly, all the lights went on.
Ryo is frozen in his spot.
"Where are you going?" his sister asked sternly.
"I'm going to go...to the bathroom?" Even Ryo didn't sound too convinced with himself.
"Wearing that?"
Ryo glanced at his clothes. No one need to wear boots and pants to go to the loo. Great.
"Ryo, where are you going?" Satomi repeated.
"I'm going out," Ryo admitted.
"Where?"
"To..umm...LAWSON*! I'm going to buy a MIFFY ** bag!" With that, Ryo dashed outside.
A few minutes later....
Soujiroh Yuri and Mimasaka Hikaru have been waiting for some time now.
"Argghh!" Yuri said exasperatedly. "Why did Yuya call us for? It's freezing out here! And there are no girls!"
"Yeah, where is he? Even I have my limits too!" Hikaru said while rubbing his hands together. "Look! Isn't that him?"
"Finally! No. Wait. That's Ryo." Yuri looked crestfallen.
"Yuya isn't here yet?" Ryo asked them. Yuri and Hikaru were about to answer when--
"MINNA! Sorry ore-sama is late!" a voice called from afar.
"That's Yuya," HIkaru stated. "But why is he limping?"
Yuri shrugged. "I don't know and I don't care." He stomped towards Domyouji. "Yuya, you better have a good explanation on why on earth we're here or I swear I'll--"
"Sshhh!!" Let me...breathe for a while, ok?" Yuya gasped. "We're here because ore-sama is in a pinch."
"What kind of pinch?" Hikaru asked.
"My ace-the-English-test pinch. Now, Ryo gave me a brilliant idea to interchange my paper with someone who aced it so I called you all here."
Yuri and Hikaru glared at Ryo and cracked their knuckles. "So it's your fault..." they growled.
"Let's go minna! Ore-sama can't stay for too long," Yuya said.
In the school building...
The halls are dark and quiet...and creepy.
"Ohh," Yuri moaned, trying to steady his flashlight. "Why do we have to do this at midnight?"
"Tsk. Are you scared, Yuri?" Ryo asked with an intimidating tone.
"No I'm not! I'm just...uncomfortable," Yuri lied.
"UWAAHHHH!!!!"
Yuya, Yuri, and Ryo ran toward the other side of the building, away from Hikaru, who just screamed.
"Wha-What's the matter, Hi-Hikaru?" Yuya asked.
Hikaru is staring at the floor. He picked up something. "I found a penny!" He held out a tiny, silver coin.
Ryo walked angrily towards him, only to be stopped by Yuya and Yuri.
After a few, creepy minutes....
"Here it is. The faculty room," Yuya announced with a deep voice.
"Can you not go yakuza mode right now?" Yuri said angrily.
"Quick, look for Mr. Johnson's table!" Yuya ordered. The G4 members hurriedly scanned the desks of the teachers.
"Ah, here it is!" Hikaru exclaimed after a few seconds.
Yuya and the others went to where Hikaru is and started to open the drawers.
"Search for our papers, hurry!" Yuya ordered.
"Here," Yuri said, handing an envelope to him.
"Yes!" Yuya swiftly scanned the scores. No one seemed to have a perfect mark! "59...62...48...32....Oh look Yuri, you got 25--"
"Don't look at that!" Yuri said.
"68...72...Aha! 100! A perfect score!"
"Who is it?" Hikaru asked.
"Makino Airi," Yuya replied. "Her name seems familiar...oh well. Hand me an eraser and pencil."
With that, Makino Airi's paper is now Domyouji Yuya's.
The next day....
"Makino Airi, please get your paper," Mr. Johnson stated in front of the class. It is English time and he is handing out the results.
Airi happily went forward to get it.
"I am very disappointed in you, Makino," Mr. Johnson said.
"Eh?" Airi is confused. As Mr. Johnson hands her her paper, Airi gasps.
5?! How can I have this score when I am so confident about my results?! she thought. And this isn't my penmanship!
"Anou, sensei, there's got to be some mistake! I--"
"Don't explain anymore, Makino. Just go back to your seat."
Airi could only bow down as she goes back to her seat, feeling confused and...weird at the same time. What on earth happened over night?
"Oh. Look at that Makino," one of the three girls said. "She's just a scholar and she has the nerve to fail a test?! If only you were richer, you wouldn't have to worry about grades."
The whole class laughed.
During lunch....
"I still can't believe your score," Hongo said. "What happened? I thought the test turned out well for you."
"I don't know what happened either." Airi bites into her sandwich. "It's like my paper had been interchanged with another paper." She sighs. "Hongo, I never get a failing mark in any of my subjects! What if this score would be the reason of me leaving Eitoku?"
"Tsk. That's impossible! Besides, we have a lot of time to know what really happened," Hongo said.
"I sure hope so..."
"Ne ne, did you hear? Domyouji-sama got a perfect score in English!" a girl squealed in the cafeteria.
Airi turned around. "Nani? He got a perfect score?"
"Of course he did," one of the annoying trio, Tsubasa, said. "G4 may have their own personal classroom but we have the same teachers. Domyouji-sama is just brilliant! And he's not as stupid as you, you know." Then she walks off.
"It's impossible for that guy to get a perfect score," Hongo muttered. "I mean, he barely even studies let alone read. I'm not even sure if he knows the difference between stupid and ugly."
"What did you say?" a deep voice said from behind them.
Airi and Hongo slowly turned around and saw the G4 standing in front of them. Domyouji Yuya looks extremely angry.
"What on earth did yu say?" he repeated, cracking his knuckles.
Airi and Hongo could only gulp.
