Oh, narrow-minded bigots..

I got this email in my inbox Tuesday afternoon right before my Assembly Language midterm:

If you don't already know there is a anti gay protester on campus in front of the library, feel free to come join us in protesting him, wear anything rainbow or gay related, if you want but make sure you are on your best behavior, do not speak to him, touch him or incite him at all because he is just trying to get that reaction so he can sue the school or whatever. We are peaceful protesters. Also, we are doing a peace walk starting in front of the amphitheater at 8 so please come :)

Yeah, on my way out of the midterm from hell, this guy was there with a megaphone yelling that the gays are all sinners. What a Christian, eh?
Just because you're religious doesn't give you ANY right to condemn everyone. You are NOT your God. This man, Jim, and his daughter were trying to provoke our campus into starting a riot. But a campus group got a giant white plastic banner to hold in front of him as a symbol of keeping his hate outside of our community. Within an hour, over 600 students were proclaiming, singing, quoting the Bible (INSTEAD OF CONDEMNING HIM TO HELL), and didn't stop for several hours.

What was beautiful about the rally was that Pride Alliance was standing together with Fredonia Christians, fighting for the same thing in harmony.

This wasn't even a quarter of how many people were there, and it only took an hour for this many people to show up from the instant he came to campus. The tall white scroll-like sign near the upper-right is the bigot who thought he could provoke us.
I've never been this proud to go to Fredonia State University. ^_^

Oh, and this guy rocks my life:

friends, college
