So random thoughts on a random day. (Worked a 12 hour shift at BB, then slept six hours, was up for six, then napped again. Whoo!)
Anyway, I'm thinking I should start going back to church. I really liked going to church -- it was a lot of fun, and I almost always walked away with a feeling of "Oh God the world is so uplifting and so pretty and I love it all so much!". The reason I stopped going was because it took me an hour to get there -- at the time a lot, not so much anymore now that that's the usual commute. Thinking of getting a bike with the money I got from the hardware store. Should make all the commutes faster and less expensive.
Before, I would take the buses from the hardware store to Triton, the community college I was going to at the time. That would take about an hour. Bikes would get me there in about 30 minutes or so, depending on traffic and how fast I rode. Same thing with the hardware store -- take about 45 minutes on buses, and I would bike there in less than 20.
Back to church. The reason why I'm thinking of going again is because I have to meet my dad at church on Wednesday night for FEAST (food and prayer night at church, basically) to finish paying off the phone bill. However, BB has me work Sunday mornings about 99% of the time, and I need the money more than I need salvation.
Also, I'm going to start (I'm stalling on this one) going to therapy soon. I have intake on Wednesday, early afternoon. Part of me is ready to start talking, another part of me is scared shitless, and another part of me wants to curl into a ball with cat!Kylie and bear!Josselin and hide under the blankies for a while. I'm going to go, though.
