This is a fascinating book.
A national syndicated columnist -- name of Norah Vincent -- decided to go into deep drag (king) for a year and see what it was like to pass as a man.
I've gotten to the chapter on "love" and how it felt to be a "man" with women. .... You know how women always complain about the madonna/whore thing? ... Well, she's typed a new complex women have with men.
A Warrior/Minstrel thing .... where women expect a guy to take charge, lead, etc and at the same time be emotionally vulnerable and sensitive.
Yeah. .... Made me laugh. Then there's the chapter on bowling .... also really cool. Yeah. Bowling. She's a good writer to make that interesting.
I loved this description .... Pick it up. It's a damn good book.
