Destined Souls: A CarrotxTira FST
I have written this FST about my favorite couple from Sorcerer Hunters, CarrotxTira. The true canon couple, and the most unfairly maligned couple in the whole fandom.
Sorcerer Hunters is a thirteen-volume manga about five teenagers who save the world from sorcerers. Along the way, they encounter friends, foes, and many clues as to who they really are and the roles they play in the fate of the world.
Carrot Glace: Reckless, confused, hormonal teenage boy with a serious side. Tira Misu: Shy, gentle, insecure lady with a sensual side. They grew up as siblings after the Glace family adopted Tira and her sister Chocolat.
Throughout the story, they encounter many obstacles, both occupational and personal, some that almost cost them their lives. But in the end, they discover the ultimate truth is what's been known all along: Their love is meant to be.

Tira quite obviously loves Carrot, but is constantly frustrated with him for chasing other girls and treating her like nothing more than a sister.

I practice all the thing that I could say,

I tell myself today could be the day,
But every time, I lose my nerve
I look at you, you look away
I'm quite shocked to be using a song from the awful Pocket Monsters anime dub, but this was so perfect. Tira wants so badly to tell Carrot how much she loves him, but fears rejection.

I just can’t look its killing me
And taking control
Jealousy, turning saints into the sea
Swimming through sick lullabies
Choking on your alibis
But it’s just the price I pay
Destiny is calling me
Carrot discovers Tira in the arms of Enzeru Fish, and for reasons he doesn't quite understand, he becomes jealous.

Though I knew you took your
hair down a little and hid the
fact that you were crying,
I didn't ask: "Why?"
Though I knew that you were only
pretending to smile, and you didn't
sleep well last night,
I just watched.
They've had a fight, and Tira has run off in tears. Carrot must go after her and apologize.

Would you cry if you saw me crying
Would you save my soul tonight?
Carrot, despite his reckless and seemingly insensitive ways, has proven himself to be a true hero over the course of the series.

I'm not trying to make you feel uncomfortable
I'm not trying to make you anything at all
But this feeling doesn't come along everyday
And you shouldn't blow the chance
When you've got the chance to say
Tira suffers constant insecurity regarding her sister. Chocolat is older, sexier, more outgoing, and loves Carrot as deeply as Tira does. Even worse, Chocolat is not afraid to show her love. Tira always fears Carrot will choose her sexier sister instead of her.
9. Stabbing Westward: Darkest Days
Have I failed
Somehow or someway?
Will the weight of today
Finally pull me down
To drown?
In the depths of despair
Where I am alone
Except for my rage.
Carrot is the reincarnation of Hakaishin, the God of Destruction, and lives with the threat of Hakaishin being awakened. He truly cares for Tira, but fears that she will suffer if she becomes too close.

With that look on your face
As if you're never hurt
As if you're never down
Shall I be the one for you
Who pinches you softly but sure
If frown is shown then
I will know that you are no dreamer
Tira tries many times to express her feelings for Carrot, only to be thwarted by her boisterous, shameless sister, another woman, or Carrot's own behavior.

I hear she cooks delightfully
a little angel beside you
Carrot meets Mousse, a charming and beautiful young lady, and seems quite taken with her. Tira is naturally heartbroken and angry.

Me and all I stood for.
We're wandering now.
All in parts in pieces, swim lonely,
find your own way out.
Carrot is more and more in danger of being overtaken by Hakaishin every day, and as the final battle approaches, he begins to lose himself.

A once in a lifetime meeting
Please engrave it in your heart
Because I think that love is
always the salvation.
Carrot would do anything for his loved ones, and Tira would do anything for her love.
14. Hayashibara Megumi: Too Late
Now I can’t return...Climbing spiral stairs,
not knowing where they will lead;

In the still moment, cut by confusion and force;
I didn’t want to go- why’d you make me?
Tira realizes that if Hakaishin is destroyed, Carrot will die too. In the ultimate act of selflessness, she allows herself to die at his hands.

As she's dying, Tira thinks of the people she loves, and how her one regret is that she will never hear Carrot say he loves her.

The feeling shows.
Mousse reveals that in a past life, Hakaishin and Apros (the Peer God represented by Tira) shared a great love.

With a kiss she reparied these broken wings
She revived my fading spirit
Restored my faith in everything
As the realization of his destined love comes to light, Carrot sees Tira's soul reaching out for him and rushes to save her. The lovers are reuinited, and the world is saved.

I look up at the moonlit sky
