......Furnace
Well it has been forever.. SHOCKER-as everyone writes when the haven’t updated their LJ in 4 months. I’m just real pissed right now and instantly got the idea to write it in my LJ.
So had this Monday off from work.. it was very nice till about 5p.m. and realized for some reason my nose and fingers were cold. When and turned up the thermostat - Nothing happened! Went and checked the breakers for the furnace - Nothing Happened! Called dad to come look and he looked - Nothing Happened. Called the repair man at 7 and found out my furnace was broken - Something Happened..
Well the repair man though it was broken charged me $650.00 to try and repair it.. found out in the end that I needed a whole new furnace. Being cocky with what I make and not concerned to much about money cause I thought a furnace costs about 1,200.00 to only find out that a furnace cost $5,000.00. The guy asked me if I could get him cash that NIGHT I about fell over.. who the hell carries $5,000.00 in their checking account for a dumb furnace.
Well needless to say I got multiple estimates this week with my parents help. Well it is about 5,200.00 for a new furnace and after living in the cold for the last 4 days.. I’ve decided that it would be a good investment.. It is hard for me to put out that much money for something that no one will ever see and really appreciate. Can I get it put in the middle of the living room with a flatscreen attached?
