O the emptiness, (or Avoid the Void)

My id... she has gone, far away from this boat, leaving me only five-sixths of a man.  Simultaneously, I feel completely hollowed and filled with tepid water, which is rather confusing.

I suppose I could take a spin around the boat, and maybe visit this new brewpub I've heard so much about. Sergei's was it?

[Well, you're just confusing the heck out of poor Eon.]

Your id? What is that?

My Id- the tigress in me that made me howl as if in heat, yearning for the mounting of a mighty golden beast. In the most masculine way possible, of course!

I believe you mean "h-hah!" followed three to ten more similar noises! As such:

[Samuel clears his throat.]

Hah! h-hah! Hoh!

..and so on.

What? No, no, no! I was chosen by the Mirror Dragon, and I am its Dragoneye.

If the common denominator here is "dragon," then I can accept that you are the eye of a mirror. What I don't understand is why a mirror could choose someone before having its own eyes. Is it some sort of blind mirror, finding its way through your chambers by echo-location?

Um... I think you misunderstand, Sir Samuel. By 'dragon', I meant one of the twelve beasts of Good Fortune. You could call me its 'knight', perhaps?

Ah! The twelve beasts! The hyena, the shrew, the puma, the jackelope, the cantaloupe, the hyrax, John Locke... I think Russ was one of them too...

What am I missing?
