Where is the summer going to??? Well I am finally 20 ( ok that happened about 2 weeks ago but whatever). My birthday was great and I had a wonderful time. Other things have been normal for the most part, Hanging out with the Hoban crew, every once in a while an MMI friend or two, and summer school. School will be over next Thurs ( July 7) and I can't wait. Finally my summer can really begin. My second class is going well but I hate it and it needs to end. English was never my favorite subject.
Things that are different:
Rachel is now in England, soon to Portugal and then traveling Europe. God I miss my sister. It is so lonely without her here. Mom is up in Maine. Yep so that means just Dad and I and 2 dogs ( one is my neighbor's that we are dog-sitting. I am going nuts. Fluffy wakes me up everyday around 8 with her loud bark and scratching on my door. Nothing more annoying then that. Even after she is out, feed and whatever else she cries and wines. Marshmallow for the most part is good so that is nice.
Yesterday was a great day and I figured worth a post. Do you ever think things happen for a reason?? Greg and I drove in my car down to Philly to pick up his brother. We got there around 12:30 stayed to eat pizza with Eric and around 2:30 drove back home. Not exciting you say. Well I decided to let Greg drive my car since I was tired when we got back near the NorthEast Extension of the Turnpike. We pulled over at a little shopping mall area near a bank. We switched sides and before I closed my eyes I told him to not hurt my car in anyway. Who would have know that would have come almost true 30 seconds later. We were sitting at the light (it was red) to make a right turn back onto the road when bam a crash happened before our eyes. We didn't see who hit who but before we knew it there was a white car sliding our way. Greg move my car up about a foot and we didn't get hit but the guy behind us did. Thankfully no one got hurt in this three car crash and my car was not part of it thanks to greg. We stayed as witnesses but mostly we didn't see anything until the white car was sliding towards us so we were not much help. Then on the way home Jerry calls us about 4 miles ahead of us and is stuck in traffic ( we thought he left 2 hours before us). Thankfully traffic started moving and before we knew it we were home where I got to finally take my nap. Then Pat and Marie came over and hung out for a little while. So all in all it was a good day full of a little action but again no one got hurt which is all that matters.
So now back to the dogs since they have been crying this whole time for attention.
