[PART 5] He Is BIGBANG's Seungri

Aug 13, 2012 19:22

He is the one who never fit in. Not in the beginning, not now. He’s the kid who was never supposed to join, wasn’t supposed to claw his way up to the top, wasn’t really as welcome to share their already cramped living space. He’s the underdog who kept to the Alpha male for protection. At least, until he realized that being with the Alpha was the most dangerous place to be. He knows just as well as anyone else that the bigger they are, the harder they fall.

So he’s the one who got to smile when he wanted to cry, who got to be grateful for getting the short end of the stick. He’s the one who no one ever takes seriously. He’s the one who’s going to make it out on top by keeping his nose to the ground and biting dust the whole way up. He’s too realistic for idealism and too idealistic for realism. He’s the one no one ever trusts because he doesn’t have an eye on your back; no, he has both eyes locked in on the prize.

But he’s also the one who’ll pick you off the ground because he knows firsthand just how hard the ground can be. He’s the one who’ll pretend not to nod off on the armchair as he sits by your side when you’re sick. He’s the one who’ll charm and flirt and sweep you of your feet if you’re smart enough. He’ll be the one to make you uncomfortable because the truths that he’s telling hit a little too close to home, because he’s uncanny like that. Because he’s a people person, and he’s a winner.

So he’ll grit his teeth and suffer as he’s dragged across the pit of hot coals and he won’t mind so much all the blood, sweat, and tears that he sheds, because by the end of it he’ll have grown out of Lee Seunghyun and into BIGBANG’s Seungri.

And there you have it; 5 parts for your birthday, Rae! Is my bias showing? FML I swear it wasn't on purpose. Seungri was the easiest and yet his was the only one that was optomistic.

/biased motherfucker
/didn't mean to
/really didn't
