Stupid Nature.
Okay, so I know everyone's probably posted about this, but the whole "70 degrees on Thursday, SNOWING on Friday" thing? So. Totally. Not. Cool. I was all set to take my boots out of my trunk and put 'em into storage. Thank goodness for laziness and procrastination!
Plus EUGH with the whole having to go to class today. Walking along unshovelled (Why would we shovel? It's not like anyone GOES anywhere on a Saturday morning!) sidewalks is bad enough, but the RIVERS of nasty brown slush that I had to ford at every street corner were enough to make me want to pack it up and move to Monserrat. Which, thanks to NPR, I now know is the only place besides Ireland to have St. Patrick's Day as an official holiday.
So happy St. Paddy's Day to everyone in Monserrat! Everyone in the Northeast, avoid the slush-chasms.
