Grey's talk
Dear Grey's Anatomy, a couple of years back I give up on you. Then Season 5 happened and even though it wasn't all that great (Ghost sex? Seriously?) I start to like again. So, season 5 finished on a high note that made me forget how much I utterly hate and always will hate Denny.
In reality, Mark and Lexie kept me invested on the show. SO I stayed.
Then, Season 6 happened.
Season 6 is awesome guys! Even Lea Michele agrees (Her twitter about it made me smile) and Lea is full of awesome. So... I had a chance to watch the last two episodes of this season and I loved it. I will probably write a bigger review, but some things need to be said before it:
- Okay, can I say that I love Jackson? Even when he butt head Lexie (My second favorite character, a little behind Cristina), which is worse than kick a puppy on the streets. But seriously. He should be her person now that April it was gone. They should paint nails and breed hair and discuss Mark Sloan and all the hot chicks Jackson nails. I think their interaction is great. Loved their small scenes on last week's episode. Love their scenes on this one even more. Lexie talk about her diaper made me LOL and high five to imaginary awesome people. Because Lexie's speech was brilliant. In fact, can I say that Lexie is stealing the show? I like Meredith, but I love Lexie so much more. Last week's episode Chyler delivered great acting (And episode 4 for that matter), and this one her lines were just perfect and funny. I don't miss Ellen so much. I miss even less Izzie. The show is MUCH BETTER without her.
- Okaaaayyyy, Cristina's reaction to the diaper was so freaking in character and win due. And Owen and Cristina finally had a great scene. I liked how he helped her at the end.
- The music on the last two episodes were outstanding. Honestly. I have to download it.
- I also LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE all Derek/Lexie scenes. She is meant to be a neurosurgeon. It's so natural and fitting for her.
- Mark and Lexie cannot stop being the most adorable couple the show ever had. No matter how small their scenes are sometimes. First, I loved his concern about Lexie's state of mind on last week's episode (And aw when he was concerned about the smell). It was incredible sweet without make it sexist or overprotective (I mean, when she said she could do it he back off and respected her as a doctor). Then on this episode, the support and the amusement on their scenes. So much cumplicity. OMG I love them! I love how he supported her, I loved the "Go be rogue" line and how amused he was when she yelled at Derek. LOVE THEM!
- Meredith/Derek bedroom scene was in a weird way so romantic. I mean, why? I have no idea. But that scene where he starts drawing the tumor on their bedroom wall remind me why I used to be kinda in love with him. When he started to explain that surgery I nearly melted.
- Mark supporting Derek. The fact Lexie probably was the one who asked him. Ugh. I think Derek/Mark/Lexie interaction is a WIN. My favorite Grey's 'threesome' haha!
- Bailey was also a great influence on him. And Chandra did a great job directing.
- Oh and I loved last week's and this week's patients. Last week's drama it was different and refreshing while this one developed Derek (I loved the voice overs). I think this season is my 3rd favorite season already along with Season 1/2 and I hope it stays this way. No ghosts.
Anyway, I think I love Lexie LOL.
