- I love Zachary Quinto. He is so smart and articulated and the fact he is going to be along with Lisa Eldestein (Another fucking amazing person) on a benefit concert to support gay marriage makes me love him even more. It aggravates me when I read homophobic comments. I want to punch all the small minded douchebags and say STFU to the 'gay

Ooh, there's a lot to comment on.

Catcher in the Rye. It was alright. Like you said you weren't the conventional teenager; I wasn't either. Or I'm not. (I'm 19, I don't know what this means in terms). A lot of the choices I make, and how I view things, in addition to what I am interested in don't exactly put me into the typical cliche teen category and the thing about the book that I didn't like was that everybody I know made Holden into the typical teen with angst so that they could relate to him, which in fact, he is the furthest thing away. I mean, it's stupid not to like a book because of that, but it did have a strong bearing on me.

Better Off Ted. I think it's really good, and a different kind of humor, not really dry, but not too sitcom-ish, so I don't know how long it's going to be on tv, but I am with you. I hate his love interest. She is so whiny. I prefer Portia's character, which is never going to happen. They have a lot of nice chemistry.

Elizabeth Mitchell is really awesome, and I think a lot of people take that for granted because they think she is awesome because she got with Sawyer.

But it's like you are reading my mind (I swear!). I have a feeling too, that she never really liked Suliet and it was probably hard for her as a skater to become an obstacle for her own fandom. But I think she respects that she and Josh were able to pull it off enough to gain massive popularity, but judging from her interviews, I doubt she really supported it. It's funny because on Dark's site, when people hear she was a skater, everyone goes, "yeah, but she isn't anymore! so you can't say that about her." Uhm, did she say that? Another reason why our fandom is so sucky.

And Zachary Quinto is made of win. I support Prop 8 too, and I was pissed off when I read on a girl's facebook who went to my highschool, that she wanted gay marriage to stay out of NJ (where I live) and even more surprised, when she joined a group that has nothing to do with her state at all. Someone tried to explain to her their views and she errupted and got so angry and it just furiates me because she is very liberal and I would think she would be the first one to support it because she does have gay friends. But I think she's against it to be cool, since it makes her more complex. I know that sounds strange but that's what she does. My best friend is gay and she came out kind of shakily to me as a sophomore in highschool, but just came out to her parents a year ago, and I admire her confidence so much. I seriously don't know why anyone would be so against gay marriage.

First and more important... Are you me? Does this weird black outs I have masked some sort of an alter ego with better english and probably a better personality but that has the basics likes and dislikes? Maybe you're my mirror evil twin, from the mirror world LOL.

- First... about Catcher in the Reye I do get what you mean. I don't think Holden is a bad character, but he is just so opposite of what I relate and this made me not engage much with the main character. In fact, at times I liked more the people that surrounded him (Such as his sister). I don't understand this teenager angst because I wasn't a 'rebel' or overly angst and though I couldn't relate at all with this phase (Being sometimes too mature and sometimes too immature to my age) I am not sure I can understand the drama. I did get though the whole 'What I am going to do with my life?' part of the book, but that was basically brought by other characters. In spite I don't necessarily need to relate to a character in order to like it (I share no murder bound with Sawyer and Kate) I have to at least to rationalize and understand (Even if not entirely) the character's actions. So I don't know, maybe I missed the bigger picture. In the end I don't think it's a bad book... in fact it's pretty good, but Holden per se is not an 'iconic' character for me personally. But as I said the book has one of my favorite passages ever. The professor who pat Holden's head while he was sleeping (Maybe it's my dirty mind, but he seemed a pedophile) was talking about the need of education to shape people's brilliance and my heart kinda swell at that point. Passages like that is what drives me to a book and maybe a better insight on the world outside 'depression' and 'phonies' or a slight familiarity would make me like Holden more.

- About Better off Ted. I just saw some episodes and I liked as well, but as you said I can't stand the what'shername love interest. She is whinny and childish. You don't like your job? Quit it! Don't stay 24 hours a day talking about how sucky it is and stealing things to cope. And her reaction with Ted's kiss and his friendship with her ex (I just watched 'till that point) it was so petty and ridiculous. I am not sure why the writers have to write her that way, but (I know I will sound like a bitch) I guess it's mainly the actress suckiness. Her role on Joey was obnoxious and chemistry-less as well. Ironicaly, I follow the guy who plays Ted since The Inside because I find him sexy and charming (I dunno, it's crazy but I have a crush on him) and 'till this point I shipped him with every single female lead. Even when he was a merely recurring character and I knew the romance would lead nowhere. He is so full of chemistry. For example, I loved loved loved LOVED his chemistry with Kate Walsh and I wished they could interact somehow. I also loved his interaction with Rachel Nichols. I was sad when his character left in the first case and the show was cancelled with the second case. About Portia, I love her character (How cute it was her interaction with his kid) and I like her with Ted. But Ted and what'shername relationship is so down our throats that no way they won't be the main ship. So, I am not shipping. But I did wish she go away.

- I think EM comes out as polite on her interviews because it's who she is, but her praise to Suliet is so tame. Like a backhand comment. I do think she was engaged into Lost before the show just because it seems her profile (And she watched the old V. OMG she is geekish) so she not only likes Skate, but I think she also interpreted the story basically how we did. The fact she bothered enough to tell she was a shipper makes me think that she did a bit of thinking on them as characters and relationships. So, outside the quadrangle, she is probably the most resonable one. I think I would be her BFF along with Marsha Thomson, another Skater inside the cast (Even though it was for little time, she squeed damn it. That interview was cute). Haters are going to assume things though because she never give an impression of being overwhelmed by Suliet storyline. In fact, on a recent interview she brought again she is a Skater. So... bitches are too stupid, apparently.

- I watched Heroes, but I was never a big fan, albeit Zachary Quinto was basically just an actor that never draw my attention physically and personality wise (Though when he used glasses he was attractive... and when he is Spock which is weird, but I discovered his awesomeness via StarTrek so it doesn't count). Note that even actors I like usually do not capture me enough to make me read or watch interviews (Not even Lost's.... usually I just read shipper quotes), but I bumped into his interviews on Star Trek promotion tour and his mind just blows me away. The way he reasons the storyline, he words things... his vocabulary (Plus he is a shipper Spock and Uhura, heee). It's so coherent. So he become someone I admire, interview wise at least.

- About Prop 8. Hells yeah. I do approve, and it's awful people are still narrow minded about this.
