Alanis Concert
I SAW ALANIS LIVE!! I always loved her and along with Fiona Apple they were pretty much my teen days. Yeah, I listened them a whole lot and maybe this explain some issues I have.
But seriously, she has a great voice live. Yeah, she pretty much is crazy on stage, but her voice is spot on. The public went wild when she sing her old and popular ones. She opened with Univited and end with Thank You. She sing pretty much all my favorites and I only missed Flinch. I almost tear up when she sing Not as we and maybe it's because it's a new one the public got quiet which made me appreciate more the beauty of this song. She also sing TAPES, and I freaking LOVE this song.
The ones I remember right now:
Univited, So Pure (Acoustic), Everything (Acoustic... this one she dedicated to the complicated people on stage and I almost screamed ME ME ME), Ironic (The public went nuts and she totally replaced the wife to husband. I noticed the replacement because my naive self couldn't help but transfer a bit my last year situation when she sing "It's meeting the man of my dreams. And then meeting his beautiful wife"), Join You (I think), You Oughta Know (I went nuts on this one specially since last year when I was heartbroken I was into the let's suffer in a cliche way and I listened to it a lot), Head Over Feet, Hand in my Pocket, Versions of Violence, Not as we (Sooo Skate), Underneath (I think), Tapes (Perfection!!!), Perfect (I think, but I may be wrong), Thank You (We all clap hands... it was so good).
Anyway... still there was songs I wanted to hear. But her set was pretty much flawless and her voice was great. I didn't identify three songs, but it must be from the new cd.
