Hey! I found this very interesting and enjoyed reading your take on Bobby/John.

I was curious about this statement: However they are both powerful, and they could negate each other's power without actually harming the other, if they so chose. Do you think their powers are equal? What about Bobby's ability to create ice out of water in the air (and human body) while John has to rely on an outside source (such as his lighter) for fire? Does this cause an imbalance or does it equalize in another way?

Again, good work.

I was looking at it in a more practical view. Pyro has learned to control his powers so much that he can use the smallest sparkle to light a fire, something that he'll find easily around him. He's gotten so powerful in fact that he can animate individual flames to take shapes and act under his command. (Or he was so powerful *sob*)

*laughs* Much better than the idea of Bobby reforming his shattered body using other people's pee.

Thanks for the answer!

Oi, that's really bad. LOL

I wonder how this second mutation will change him though. He seems pretty much indestructable, since water particles in the air seem enough to keep him alive even when liquified.

Physically, yes, I think he's near indestructable. Possibly he'll have an extended life-span. I mean, logically he would but you never really know with X-Writers.

But then we know how many dead mutants came back to life AFTER Marvel swore that they would not bring back the dead with the new reload. It's a wait and see game.

I miss Northstar in the comics.
