Eeep, Risa/Otani and Yukino/Arima are up against Naruto and Bleach ships. It looks like I got my votes in quite early so I can't really tell which ships will win yet. *crosses fingers for Lovely Complex and Kare Kano OTPs*

Also...is there really that much of a difference between Batman/Joker (The Dark Knight) and Batman/Joker (Batman)? o_o

Batman/Joker (The Dark Knight) is from the film the Dark Knight with Bale and Ledger. The Batman/Joker (Batman) is from the animated programs and/or comics.

I could say the same for Kirk/Spock. There are two versions of them now because of the 2009 movie. They aren't exactly that different, but they are played by different actors, and there may be a slight difference in personality. I guess some people may have preferences over how different their dynamics are in each medium.

Hmmm. I see what you mean; I heard something about Heath Ledger's Joker being the darkest and creepiest possible version of the comics' Joker. Thanks for the clarification!

As a fan of TOS, I have to scoff at the idea that the film and the episode versions of Captain Kirk and Spock aren't that different. In my opinion they might as well have created original characters for the 2009 movie and the pairing of Kirk/Spock, while nearly canon in TOS, is practically impossible in the context of the new storyline.

well you see, batman and the joker's relationship differ between the nolanverse movies and the comics/animated series. A lot of things between them (how they meet, joker's appearance/back story, the timing of when this is all happening, the characters in the story at the moment, the joker's actions, and some other thing) in the nolanverse movies that arent in the comics/animated series.

Batman is one of my main fandoms, so I understand clearly why they separated the 2, but I know that for some people who really arent in the fandom (Im really sorry if Im assuming too much of you!) I understand how it can seem confusing and you think "isnt that the same thing?". and (obviously) I say no, its not the same thing but I get how some people think it is.

lol, I hope that made sense XD I can explain more/go into more detail if you want.

That's quite all right; thanks for the explanation; I've seen The Dark Knight but not really read the comics, so I was a bit confused about that. A lot of things do tend to change with adaptations.

There's supposed to be an exclamation mark after "thanks for the explanation," not a semicolon. I do know how to use semicolons...I think. ^^;
