Much as I adore the Yuugi/Anzu/Atemu threesome/love triangle, there's no denying of the cuteness of Anzu/Shizuka, and how well they fit each other as either friends or girlfriends.

And even more love goes to you for aknowledging the Yuugis and respecting them. That's SO needed in a fandom filled up to here with bashing. :P

Wonderful essay! It's not my favorite pairing for either of the girls (give me Yuugi/Anzu or Honda/Shizuka/Otogi - as a threesome, not a love triangle - any day of the week) but there's no denying that they're good friends in canon, and you make some good points about their compatibility. And you're right, they are cute together.
