I do think that Luna's oddness is partly becuase she wanted to push people away. Which is one of the reasons I love her with Ron so much, Ron is protective and loyal. And his sweetest moments are with Luna.

Yeah, that is part of the reason, but I think part of the reason she's so outwardly odd and not trying to fit in just a little bit is because of what happened with her mom. I can't say for sure, but that's a vibe I get.
