Downton Christmas Thoughts

Oh thank god they're not going to drag out Mary & Matthew for another season :D :D :D I think I would have not even tried to keep up if they did that. Just wouldn't be able to take it. Their scenes were so cute as well. Thankful I finished it - first download conked out 1 hour in and I didn't realize it! Right at M&M's Turkish diplomat-reveal scene. I was so pissed 'cause I had to go to sleep immediately so couldn't find a new download till yesterday afternoon :( Now I can go onto tumblr without being spoiled. I really had missed that crazy, constantly updating network.

No matter how much I have hated Thomas over the seasons, after the black market fiasco and him almost being thrown out on his ass, rather glad he's getting to stay. At least seemed to feel awfully bad at nearly losing Isis. Maybe he'll be a better valet than irritating, scheming footman? :hopes: It really does seem like O'Brien is his mother, doesn't it. Hmm.

I actually cried out when they pronounced death for Bates. I hadn't realized they still would hang people in England in 1920. Seems crazy barbaric. Then remembered the couple of spies we electrocuted in the '50s =/ Really thought Anna would be widowed and go to America with Mary and S3 would pick up after that. We'll be following his appeals/proving of his innocence instead :)

So nice to see Daisy find family with William's father; hadn't realized she was pretty much/is actually an orphan. She seemed so happy! Finally her guilt is relieved and she can interact normally with him. And she's gonna get her recognition finally in the kitchen :)

Lavinia's ghost at the ouiji board was kinda hokey; then remembered it was a Christmas episode set in the in the past, in England - of course it had a ghost ;)

Can't wait for season 3 ^__^
