Finally got in to see the doctor today after a full 24 hours of headache-free anxiety (one false move and it'll return, surely). Just one of my twice-yearly upper respiratory infections as far as he can tell, plus the added sinus component. It never fails that I'll get in to see the doctor only after my symptoms have begun to drop off - not that I want my headache back, nor its accompanying nausea - but the expense seems less than necessary now than two days ago. Oh well; learned, however, that laying off the Sudafed is probably best, especially as its efficacy is in question. I seriously believe the only OTC medicine that works for me is ibuprofen: aspirin makes me jittery, Tylenol is ineffective and there's almost no point to taking cold/cough/allergy meds, so I don't. A bit sad, that; I'd greatly prefer to not have to get prescription allergy meds again, such a hassle and all, as I need more than one.
Enough of that; got my antibiotic, I'll be fine.
Received my acceptance letter yesterday, just waiting on my credit evaluation so I can set up a meeting with my adviser, figure out what classes I'll be taking, which areas I'm deficient in as regards the acquisition of a BA in Psych since I currently have an AS. Not really certain how useful those credits will be; I have been thinking of going for a major and a minor, perhaps in Biology, if possible. A lot is still up in the air, I suppose; the important thing is that I'm in - I can decide on the particulars once I have more information. I do want to go to graduate school (UPenn is the dream school; they have a really cool program that combines Psych and Bio: Biological Basis of Behavior - it's just a ridiculous amount of money) (,_,) and they'll help me put together a curriculum that will feed into that future. Should be interesting - they have a fencing team and my little bro's on UArts' team: we could face each other :D (He's the brother I like, but I won't hold that against him.)
I'll save Heroes-centric thoughts for later. One thing: I missed the Bennet.
