A sinus sufferer's sudden sally into...something

Nov 12, 2007 17:55

I woke up this morning after my normal fitful sleep to things good, bad and a mixture of the two.  Bennet in a dream is a good thing, though when Sylar's explaining that he doesn't eat brains but drink them, using Noah's own to demonstrate his technique; that kind of dream isn't quite so great.  He was half naked (blame this week's teaser) and he did revive using usual dream logic, so all is good, I suppose.   I also woke up to an absurdly painful headache that persists still, surviving the administration of ibuprofen, Sudafed, and DayQuil (not taken together).  I have a complicated history of headaches - a month or so ago I believe one lasted for three weeks - often related to sinus problems, though I had surgery two years back to correct my deviated septum.  Made my allergies expand into new realms (i. e., symptoms) and I still have sinus problems with a good deal of regularity, so I wonder now what that procedure actually did. :-/
I don't get fevers often and don't have one now, just am in a perpetual state of cold with my heater on and wrapped up in my fleece jacket (when I'm not sweating).  It's annoying as hell, and now I'm probably going to have to make a doctor's appointment.  At least I got out of the Temple of the Ocean King (that place is huge and irritating and - I already complained about this, so, here I stop).
