Da box is READY (for installation)
ok.. its is done.. and then it wasn't and now it is.. lets go step by step.
1. ok.. so I got up in the morning. (from the computer) and started the finishing touches.. two little speakers are GOOOOO!!!
2. Whats next.. the big boys.. a little solder and there ready to BOOOOM!!!
3. add the handles, screw on the speakers. and its ready to run..
4. Now lets go see how it fits?
and with the add-a-trunk closed.
this is soooo sweeeeeet.. Oh and that 12 year old bass cannon Its replacing..

Wht happened you asked.. well a transport drove by and flattened everything..
nah just kidding.. what happened was the monster speakers were being beat up buy the little speakers.. how you ask.. well when the big speaker tried to jump. the little speaker also jumped from the air pressure, and it basically muted the big speaker. of course the other way around the little speaker couldn't push the big speaker and it sounded actually better.
hows that possible.. so instead of killing the little speakers I decided to buy inserts to protect them.. after a lot more hassle than it should have been.. I got the inserts only to find out that "fits any 5 3/4", 6, 6" 1/4" speakers" means it doesn't fit my 6" at all. but I decided to try and hear if it sounded ok with the insert in place. then covered the hole.. sounded much better, turned it back down.. Well thats weird.. after playing with it for a while.. I tried it again.. dammit why didn't it fit.. how can I make it fit..
*lets go of wood covering, still cranked. boom boom boom and off pops the wood and insert.*
BOOOOOOM!!! BOOOOOOOM!!! BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMM!!

So the little speakers have been removed. and I will be adding a crossover for more power or something like that, that the guy at canadian tire told me it does. can play with the sound more anyways.
suppose to eliminate the voices and leave the boom!
ok so I got a couple of covers for the holes.. you know the little holes on a box normally.. and how it blows air into your hand.
well this does that.. only its coming out of a 6 inch hole!!!!!! wasn't even sure that was possible.
lets just hope the amp can do that too.
we'll see.. so the box ended up a little different setup.. looking it actually looks cooler with these covers. I think. you should see these speakers jump now. some glad it didn't work so I could discover this now.

anyways.. till this weekend I am just playing with it on the stereo. but this weekend it migrates into the back of the jeep.. wonderful :)
