I started reading Fushigi Yuugi Genbu Kaiden last night and I've just finished ch26 (the last available at
StopTazmo) this afternoon, which happend to be a huuuuuge cliff-hanger (so there, don't read just yet). Anyway, I think that series updates regularly on the site (unless of course you recommend some other place or you have the rest).
Because I'm hooked.
Takiko just proved that Miaka's existence was really a big mistake. -_- hehe, sorry Miaka lovers but she really should learn from the Genbu no Miko.
Story-wise, I like the way it unfolded. Takiko's side-story in the real world isn't shallow. I mean she's got real issues at home. And the conflict in the Universe of the Four Gods is twistful. The story takes place some decades (a century probably) before the Suzaku timeline (in Takiko's world at least, it's set in the 1920s I think). And the Genbu no Miko was the first to appear, right? Was that mentioned in the Suzaku Kaiden? Then again, I don't remember much of Miaka's story anymore. Because one Genbu Seishi (Tomite) said "We should set fine examples!"
And good thing Nuriko never gets to meet Uruki. ^^;
Inihaws, found somethings to watch, thanks to
Reality Lapse. Finally, I can watch Kyou Kara Maoh!
On my playlist tonight:
> Ranma 1/2 - just felt like watching it. It's timeless anyway and I never saw the first ep (just first chap).
> Kyou Kara Maoh!
> Gundam 00 - just curious. Anyway, it's just 25 eps.
> Escaflowne 26 - because I never saw this one in japanese. XD
maybe I'll try making a Namame plushie ehehe.. o.O
