tss. more than anything dude, its the humanities that's universal. Hello. name a school that doesn't teach English. and if you're going to canada where people like margaret atwood hails from, malamang you'd get a ton of job offers...say work in a great bookstore abroad! (always a secret fantasy of mine...to work in a barnes and noble shop with starbucks inside!!!!)
you need not end up in the academe if you're concerned with work. BUT, again, believe you me. what you need to learn about the job will be taught when you're there na. that's what they call training. transition period. if i were you, i'd pick a course that will really develop your work ethic. :) don't think that just because you finished this course you'll be limited to just that.
what's the deal ba? will you cut your studies short here and then continue them abroad? will all of your subjects be credited there na? because let me tell you now it ain't as easy that. and are you sure you'll take food tech in canada? what if there are other courses there?
(seriously, if you're just after work, you don't really need a college degree to work in another country. dito lang sa pilipinas uso yun!)
REALIZE, that this is me fighting, pushing so hard, so that you'll take a course that i know you'll actually enjoy. :)
