ONE-SHOT; FOR POPPYPROMISE
Pairing: BROMANCE; Jaebum x Junho (for poppypromise )
Prompt: Jay thinks Junho is a cute little brother. Junho thinks Jay is a cool older brother.
Author's Note: I'M SORRY IT'S LATE AND THIS BECAME A MAJOR FAIL! I just can't seem to write non-angst without making it boring or anything. Ahhhhhh, hope you enjoy it :)
Junho concentrates on the large screen in front of him, watching the broadcasted version of their filming from last week. His eyes squint in despair as he realizes Lee Junho once again has little to no screen time. He could try to blame the editor for purposely editing him out because he holds some secret grudge against the poor boy or perhaps it was the cameraman who didn’t manage to get much shots of him. Junho sighed in his seat, who was he kidding? He was the most ordinary and serious amongst the members.
Junho wanders into Junsu’s room and watches from behind as Junsu browses the iTunes store for new music. He turns around and jumps from his seat, knocking over the stack of books on the table, “Jesus Junho! You scared me!”
“So-Sorry Hyung,” Junho looks at him confused, “I did knock and you said come in”
“I did?” Junsu does his head tilt and laughs a little, “I don’t even remember. Anyway what’s up?”
“Hyung, you’re funny, actually did you know that you’re really funny?”
Junsu was taken aback from the sudden compliment, “Is something wrong?”
“No...I just wish I was as funny as you are”
Junho walks out of the room leaving a bewildered Junsu cleaning up the mess of books he had knocked over. Junho then wanders into Chansung’s room where he finds Taecyeon resting on the bed reading a volume of One Piece manga. He sits on the edge of the bed and grabs one of the volumes from the bedside shelf, flicking through the pages.
He taps Taecyeon on the foot, “Hyung how do I become more beastly like you?”
Taecyeon lowers his book and looks at Junho blankly, “Hm?”
“Ah never mind, I’d never get use to it,” he turns to look at Chansung who was busy munching on a pocky, “I wish I was the maknae”
“Hm?” Chansung looks up from his book only to see Junho retreating from the room and going into Wooyoung’s shared bedroom with Nichkhun
“Do you think I’d be a good ssanti dancer?”
Wooyoung sends him ‘what-are-you-talking-about’ looks, “Do you want to be a ssanti dancer?”
Junho thinks about it, “Maybe not, I'd just embarrass myself...”
He walks into the living room to find Jaebum on the couch and Nichkhun lazing around on the floor watching Orange Caramel perform their latest song on Music Bank. Junho joins Nichkhun on the ground and puts a hand under his head.
“Hyung how can you be so cute on T.V?” Junho pouts, he knew God was bias when he created Nichkhun because the boy had it all
“It’s the only thing I can do, I don’t want to be like that and you know that” Nichkhun sat up, “Are you okay?”
“Yeah I’m fine, just wondering you know”
“Well I’m getting a drink, do you want?”
“Nah I’m fine thanks”
“What about you Jay?”
“Nah I’m cool”
Junho sighs, he closes his eyes for a second and opens them to find Jaebum standing over him, “What the hell Hyung!” Junho puts a hand to his chest to calm his heart from the fright
Jaebum crouches down and pokes his dongsaeng, “Yah! Why are you acting like this?”
Junho sits up, “Like what?”
“Like all ‘oooh why is Hyung so cute and I’m not’”
A spread of hurt and embarrassment races across Junho’s face, “I’m not”
“Sure you are!”
“I’m not!”
“Yes you are and you should stop!”
The other members started gathering into the living room all dressed, preparing to go to JYP headquarters.
“I’ll let you in on a little secret my little Junho,” whispered Jaebum into Junho’s ear, “You’re way cuter than Khun”
Junho looked at him dumbfounded, “Don’t make me say that shit twice”
Junho smiles at the leader, leaning in close enough so other member’s won’t hear him, “I’ll let you on a little secret too Hyung, you’re way cooler than Taec Hyung”
