ADV speaks!
Okay, folks, stop panicking: ADV is not going to the big Suncoast in the sky just yet.
As a few of my friends and I have been bandying about, the fact is that the industry is in flux right now and in dire need of change, lest more companies go the way of Synchpoint, CPM and Geneon. But ADV is not going to join them in the near future. Near as I can guess, the deal with Sojitz fell through and now they're in need of cash. At worst, it means restructuring under a Chapter 11. But I don't think that it means the end of the company.
So relax - especially you histrionic types. Anime is not going away any time soon. This is just like the 1983 videogame crash. Just watch.
