yeah..I didn't hear from too many d.c. folks this week. I suspected they were all suffering heat exhaustion.

Actually, the heat exhaustion wasn't an issue from me, since it hasn't been so long since I lived in Honolulu (besides, I'm from SoCal anyway, so I'm used to the heat).

I'm just tired of the soulless BS that passes for life in this burg.

I didn't know that you lived in DC! We live in Fredericksburg!!! But don't you just LOVE the heat?! Btw... has the security there been strengthened? Just curious because the news said that it was going to happen...

Cool. We actually live in Reston, not too far from the 9th Circle of Hell itself.

The heat doesn't bother me; actually, I welcome it, as I moved here from Honolulu a little under two years ago. Also, I'm originally from SoCal, so again, I'm used to the heat.

Security doesn't look like it's been strengthened much...which is a good thing, IMHO. If terrorists are going to try something here, I don't want them to see the cops; makes it easier for the authorities to nail the baddies that way.
