180 degrees later...
Paul and I are engaged! :) :)
I'll post more about it later on, but basically he coordinated with my family to create this whole false idea of the normal weekend with me blocking out a certain amount of time to spend with my mom on Saturday, with Paul and I having our usual 2 hour phone call later in the day. In reality he flew in to Cincinnati and surprised me with a 2-year anniversary day proposal!
I'm totally amazed, astounded, in love and incredibly happy :)
