Gah, I just love this time of year when it starts getting cold and the leaves start changing colors. Of course, they're mostly just yellow and brown around here, with very few orange ones. Not really any red trees in the fall around here. On the drive up to North Carolina though, it's so pretty! Tons of maple trees and others, that are all different colors, it's so nice just staring out the window. When my mom is doing the driving, of course. I don't know if we'll make it up there this year or not. I think we're planning on going around christmas perhaps. Not sure.

I've been on such a Sonic the Hedgehog kick lately. I can't wait till we can get Sonic Generations. Although that will probably be a while. Since we don't have a PS3 or a 3DS. I was thinking about giving Sonic Colors a try though. I want to play some of the newer games. I was thinking Sonic Adventure was all new and cool, because it was the first time I played it (when I bought it a few months ago), but then realized it's still one of the most nostalgic ones. Like Ocarina of Time is to the Zelda series.
I don't care what people say, I'm willing to give the new Sonic games a chance. You don't have to have that "they changed it, now it sucks" mentality about it. Yeah, it's not the sonic you grew up with (and I know this, I was born in 1990, so the original Genesis sonic IS what I grew up with), but it's still sonic. If they made it just like the old ones still today, it would get kinda boring. Yeah, Sonic 3 & Knuckles was pretty epic for it's time, but if they just kept doing that, that would be "No good!" It's nice to see them do something different, and it's not like they've forgotten us older fans. Why do you think they're making stuff like Sonic 4 and Sonic Generations? Also, I like all the new characters that have been introduced into the series over the years. Tails is still my all time favorite, but I even like Shadow a lot, as my second fave. Sure, his game wasn't the best, but for some reason I really enjoyed playing it, and having to do all the levels like, 10 times made fighting the real final boss all the more worth it.
On another note, I got Sonic Rush recently. The one nostalgic thing I wish they wouldn't do, is those godforsaken Sonic 2 style special stages! Sonic Heroes did that too, and I HATED it! I liked the ones on Sonic 2 okay, but not outside of that game! Bring back Blue Spheres! Seriously though, I like Sonic Rush a lot, I'm just having trouble with Sonic's zone 6 boss (and getting that DAMN seventh chaos emerald!).

So yeah, I guess that's about enough Sonic-related rambling for now.
