They weren't pretty sobs. They weren't controlled or graceful. They were big ugly, splotchy, heart rending tears, dribbling down the girl’s pale cheeks. Her skin was raw and her eyes swollen from the tears that wouldn't stop flowing. The shaking was beginning to cease and her mother smiled at her from over the counter top of their kitchen. Her daughter’s big emerald green eyes widened and stared at her mother, an indescribable expression on her face. Her mother sighed and moved round so she was kneeling in front of her six year old daughter. The woman placed a light kiss on her daughters head, momentarily stopping the racking sobs that had taken control over her sweet little girl’s body.
