I talked with Mr. godfrey the other day, and after complimenting me on my shoes, he asked if I was doing the musical (In the tone of voice that means its not really a quetion). I said I wasn't really sure, because I have Driver's Ed (I know, I know, so shoot me.). This was apparently the wrong thing to say. Mr. Godfrey said I should try out anyway, which I might do. But seriously, those that know Mr. Wallace know that missing every Thursday till Spring Break is asking for some serious intimidation and anger. I would love to do the musical, but here are my hangups:
Driver's Ed ruins everything.
No Godfrey. (it's really nice if the man auditioning you is the same guy who put you in Jazz Choir as a sophmore)
It's at CV. (nothing against CV, but WHY DO THEY HAVE TO HAVE IT THERE?!? We have a fabulous facility at CHS, and it'd be nice not to have to go to CV every day for practice. Plus, where could they possibly fit a a pit at CV? At CHS, the pit is actually a pit now.)
I know I'm gonna be really, really busy. I mean, I'm one of the only seniors with a full schedule.
No last year's seniors.
I don't know what to do. I mean, I watched the Musicman with Amanda last night, and it looked really fun. There were several characters that would be a lot of fun...and Godfrey said I could probably get in the Quartet or even have a chance at the lead...
I really don't know.
