I know what it (only) is... but I like it.
I bought a new guitar. It's a Epiphone Les Paul 100. I got it pretty cheap and it plays like a dream. I had been using Taryn's parents' National Glenwood. The National is a freaking Cadillac, but it had a few things that didn't suit my needs well:
1.) it requires very heavy strings, which are hard to learn on...
2.) it has a very wide neck... which is hard to learn on...
3.) it's worth a ton of money... so I'm terrified of damaging it... which makes it hard to learn on
4.) it has a high action and low frets... yeah.. hard to learn on
