YAY RAIN
Soo, its raining and I finally got to use my spiffy umbrella that I got around christmas ^^. And it actually matches my outfit today :D!
I'm a little upset that I have to take a second quiz today, but then I get to go home and not immediatley have to worry about anything cause it will be the weekend! (though I still have to write a final draft paper and read a couple plays... oh well, this is doable).
So, yay. But I have just discovered new information! --- Disney is finally going to do another 2d movie (YAY!) that is supposed to come out in 2009. What is so special about this you may say? well, it is called The Frog Princess, and the princess is black. Yes, the first black Disney princess, which they have made quite obvious, and have stated blatantly, that she will become part of the whole princess franchise. So why is there a black princess in the frog princess? especially considering it is a European tale? well I'm glad you asked, because it takes place in New Orleans! Just in case you forgot about New Orleans after all the press about it being destroyed and them trying to build it up to it's former glory... AND, it is going to be very cajun, as they say, and involve voodoo (yay voodoo). However, this information makes me sad that it seems that she does not seem to fit the requirements of the mainstream princesses, since obviously New Orleans is no where near as old as any of the other princesses kingdoms, and that, if the requirements are changing, they should include more Esmeralda and Pocahontos.
Her name is going to be Princess Maddy...
... I prefer the first one myself, but whatever disney... whatever.
In much cooler Disney news, Enchanted is supposed to come out at the end of this year, which is supposedly half live action - half 2D animated. But it has Idina Menzel in it and music by Alan Menken. YAY!
and, perhaps I should read a play now, instead of surfing the intenet and posting random stuff.
