Not exactly in a happy place
So I'll make it brief. Unemployed due to layoff. Have had to give up both opportunities to teach at camp - if you know me at all, this is kind of a big deal. Don't have immediate prospects. Am still clueless about what I want to do with my life. Severance package still hasn't cleared; am worried I won't make rent this month. Roommate due at end of May. Fretfretfretfretfretfret.
Positives: Good friends. Good family. Good weekly cheapo potluck dinner parties. Six-day temp gig at High Point furniture market.
Trouble is, I need work yesterday. Daily walks and volunteering at CVA are current strategies to combat the verysadandhelpless feeling.
