(no subject)
hey everyone, IM HOME!! not 4 long though cuz 2morrow im gone 4 another week:) last week i was at tuolumne family camp for a week which was pretty fun! i'm gonna write about the week "gossip girl" style which is not using names but letters instead.
Friday-arrived and didn't do much
Saturday-went to small falls with K and J. We made a damn but then it fell apart:( I got yet ANOTHER lanyard, but did end up finishing 2 1/2! Later we watched the staff show. It was based on Charlie and the Chocolate Factory/Annie, lol. It was called Charlie and the 5 Golden Reservation Forms, but it had like 4 or 5 songs from Annie. Z found one of the "golden reservatioln tickets" a.k.a. a Jerry Dollar, which I NEVER get!
Sunday-We went 2 early intake which is becoming the new rainbow. I like early intake much better! We drove like 20 minutes and then hiked for about 45-50 minutes and were there! Z said he went backpacking there with Tawonga so I hope nezt year if I go to tawonga we can backpack there! We jumped off rocks which was fun, but i didn't do the biggest one this time. I only did the like 10 and 15 ft. ones. J found a water slide which was fun and we didn't even hit rocks going down! We went off the rope swing and for the first time found sand and rocks there in the middle of the water place. we were standing on rocks and pushing eachother off and then Z says:
Z:Oh look, I found a different rock to stand on!
S:Well I can just push you off of that one too!
Z:Actually it's more like a bunch of small rocks which most people call sand!
LOL, it was soo funny but maybe you just had to be there.
when we got back from early intake we went to social hour and had crab cakes and quiches and chocoalte covered strawberrites and lotsa other good food! i practeced my volleyball skills(which i don't have many of...)lol, it was still fun tho. Then me, K, J and maybe G (I can't remember, were u there?) acted like retards and played board games for 3 year olds. lol, but maybe we're 3 year olds at heart! we played stirrers (sp?) which is the same as spoons or toungues (sp? AGAIN)it was sooo fun!
Monday-I made hemp and then lost one so i got another one and then found my old one sooo now i have 2 of teh EXACT same hemp! i also practived more volley ball and i dont remember anything else i did.
Tuesday-We went to yosemite for the day and it was sooooo beautiful. there were waterfalls and we climbed on all the rocks all the way 2 lower yosemite falls and put our feet in the water. it was so cool. then we had lunch and went into the river on our drive cold. it was FREEZING! also refreshing tho. once we got back 2 camp it was table night, also like a talent show! it was soooo funny and a few times it was so hard not to laugh in the middle of someones act! then i went 2 the basketball court and did my lanyard and hung out.
Wednesday-We went 2 early intake again right after breakfast and had lunch there. it was so fun and i jumped off the big rock this time! we spent a while there and got back 4 bingo! i love bingo night but i NEVER EVER EVER win! this is my 14th year there and ive played every year and never won anything, not even loser bingo lol!
Thursday-THEME DAY! island paradise this year, which was a good theme. i slept late 4 the first time the whole week, not waking up at 8-8:15! i went 2 the carnival thing and at quiet hour me, J, k and G rafted down river which was fun but the rocks kept getting in my way. we went all the way down 2 nako(sp?) and then walked back 2 camp. i went on beaverhead 4 the first time the whole week and then we got smoothies, lollypops and wathed the beaverhead jump contest. we went on the waterslide and played backetball and then it was dance lessons and the dance. i didnt go to either cuz the tuolumne dance is soooo boring and i hate it every year so this year i didnt even bother going and just hung out with G. afterwards Z did some counrty inprove which was sooo funny!
Friday-we drove home which was good and bad. i mean i love camp and all but it was also nice 2 be home.
2morrow im leaving 4 another week vacation but if u want u can call me this time and i might be able 2 go online a few times. gotta go continue packing! call my cell, ttys, lotsa love, xoxo, and everything else!
