Another Opportunity Ruined
I had the most lovely evening last night. Well, in all honesty, it could have been lovelier...
I met Ted after dinner to go for a walk - I think it was maybe a date. Well, he referred to it as a date, anyway...
Anyway, we went walking outside the castle and it was cold and he had on all these layers and couldn't even manage to work his cloak buttons and it was completely endearing, which was quite funny. And we were about to kiss, I think. Was he going to kiss me? Merlin, I wish I knew, it's killing me! minding our own business when that blasted Filch and his stupid kitten come charging up and he accused Ted of dropping an Every Flavour Beans wrapper, of all things! Which was completely unfair, because I was with Ted the whole time and I'm certain he didn't drop anything on purpose. Maybe something fell out of his pocket, but that certainly wasn't his fault if he didn't even know it!
So Ted was undertandably annoyed - why do we always get interrupted? a bit short with Filch and he gave him detention! It was grossly unfair! And of course, completely killed the mood. I feel awful for poor Ted. Perhaps I should find out when and where he has detention and go keep him company. What is Filch's problem???
