Hey im very new here. Anyway, I'm posting a quick story let me know what you think
Title: Late night calls

A shrill ringing broke the silence in the room. Groaning quietly into his pillow, he put his hands over his ears in vain, trying to bloke out the noise. Unfortunately the ringing cell seemed to intensify in volume.
He forced his eyes to open. Looking over at the bedside table, he read the flashing red numbers on the clock.
Deciding it may be an emergency, his hands searched out for the ringing object.
“Yeah?.” He croaked voice rich with sleep.
Though, what greeted him on the other end was even more annoying and shrill than the phone itself.
A high pitched and keening laugh could be heard. The person on the other end hiccupped, trying to catch his breath from laughing so hard.
It was a really ugly sound, Lance decided.
“Ok, so wait a minute”. The person on the other end said. Lance heard him once more suck in a few more deep breaths.
“Asshole its 4:15 Am, I was worried. I thought you were calling because of an emergency, or something.” Lance grumbled, feeling more awake.
“Dude, seriously. I don’t even know where to start. This is gold, Bass.” He gasped out laughing.
“Chris I suggest you start talking, or I’m going to hang up.”
“Ok, so first, you were in a porn shop. Then I heard you threw your jacket onto some candles setting it on fire. All because it sounds like you were holding one mighty dildo.”
Lance sunk further into his mattress
“Correct me at any point Bass.” He said laughing once more on the other line.
“I was wondering how long it was going to take you, to call up and humiliate me. Although, Chris I have to say, you are getting kind of slow on the up take. It happened like three days ago. Normally you would have been in touch within a few hours.” Lance said, while grimacing into his pillow.
“Lance, man. I can’t make these kinds of things up, even if I tried really hard and drank lots of coffee. Really this is the funniest thing I have heard in a long time.”
“I’m glad my own boyfriend finds my embarrassment amusing. That’s nice Chris, really.”
Chris’s laughter had died down, but you could still hear the smile in his voice.
“Baby, what I want to know is, did you get the dildo? It looked like fun.”
Hearing Chris laugh one more, Lance said “Ok, well fuck you. Good night.”
“I love you” Lance heard Chris choke out between laughs, before he hung up.
