I love this story so much! All of it - Chris doing ghetto magic instead of all that overwrough ritualistic stuff, and JC the demon (if I were a demon, I'd want to disappear in a cloud of bluegreen smoke too), and wee!Chris eating a lot of iron to screw over a demon, and Mercury possessing Justin, and and and... yes. That whole scene with Mercury is just awesome - the banter, that Mercury tries to cop a feel (and who wouldn't if they were possessing Justin's bod?). And I love Oprah!Justin lecturing Chris that a "relationship can only be as honest as the people in it." And Chris banishing JC. I could go on and on.

I admit I was a little puzzled by the juxtaposition of Justin thinking Britney's The One with he and Chris doing sex magic all the time. I wanted a little nod somewhere as to why/how that was ok in Justin's mind (it would be fine in mine, but I'm not about The One concept), and would it have been OK with Britney/did she know? Which I guess would be hard to introduce from Chris's POV, but if I were in Chris's position, I'd be scared of Britney coming in and kicking my ass one day. I don't think she'll banish as easily as JC.

Dude, thank you so much! The story was whole hoops of fun to write, not to mention a way to use all that research I did on magic back when I was devouring Hellblazer comics. It's funny how much of that stuff stays with you. *g*

Y'know, now that you mention it -- you're absolutely right. Dammit! I fell for the common mistake of writing an otp -- I figure there's no need to explain them getting together because I'm a TRUE BELIEVER. *g* Thank you for pointing that out; I might go in and do some revising to rectify that. Because you're totally right! Justin would have *some* sort of justification in his head for why it's *different* and *acceptable* to be sleeping with Chris.
