A/N: This came from out of no where, really. I was lying down and then I got the sudden urge to write, and this is what happened. I hope people like it.
Yesung watched Eunhyuk smile as he hugged Donghae when the man entered the room, finally back from his schedule. These two were something else. They care-possibly too much-for each other. If one is upset, so is the other. If one is happy, they both are. They were by far cute. They were down right adorable. Especially when Donghae would kiss Eunhyuk in front of everyone and the man being kissed would blush and lightly slap the other man's arm, pulling a giggle from the other.
Donghae was sweet. He is the one that will dance romantically for his lover, and everyone knows how happy Eunhyuk will get over it. Eunhyuk, on the other hand, however, is romantic, but he is shy. He will not do anything if he is in the public eye. Even if he's in front of the rest of the Super Junior members he won't even so much as say "I love you, Donghae" if he means it romantically.
Despite Eunhyuk's hatred of being seen being cutesy in public with Donghae, there is always that feeling that washes over you when you walk by them. Automatically you feel warmth. Almost as if there is love in the air. Yesung smiles as Donghae pulls Eunhyuk to sit on the floor with him and they start talking about Donghae's day, and Eunhyuk is paying so much attention, Yesung could have a heart attack and all Eunhyuk would see is Donghae. Eunhae is the cute couple.
Yesung gets up and starts walking to his bedroom, stopping when he hears laughter coming from the bathroom. He would knock, but instead he slowly twists the knob and is surprised to see it is unlocked. Yesung looks in and sees Heechul, huddled, with a phone to his ear and a hand covering his mouth so he doesn't talk too loud. Yesung walks back out and shuts the door as he hears a faint "you too, Hangeng." The door opens and Yesung stares at Heechul who stares back. "I was-uh.. hi." Heechul does his best to sneer and walks away.
Yesung can't help but smile. It's so obvious Heechul puts on a brave face when he misses his friend... his lover, so much. He knows damn well Heechul cries sometimes thinking about his lover and how he can't see the man. He knows Heechul gets upset when he sees the other couples, smiling, laughing, sharing kisses. Though, no one really sees through his brave face, and they think he's fine. Yesung knows better. Sometimes he will see Leeteuk giving sympathetic looks to Heechul. There was one time when Leeteuk went up and kissed Heechul, in front of everyone.
Everyone accused Leeteuk of trying to get Heechul to cheat on Hangeng, and they also accused Leeteuk of trying to cheat on Kangin. No one saw that before that Heechul was watching Eunhyuk and Donghae kissing. No one saw the tears that were collecting. No one saw the way Heechul bit his lip. No one except Leeteuk and Yesung.
Though, even Yesung didn't notice how when Leeteuk stood ashamed of what he had done, even though for a minute, just a minute, Heechul could just pretend like the other man was there, Leeteuk had tears in his eyes. Heechul walked out of the room at that time, pretending like he was angry. Yesung had heard foot steps that night. He walked, slowly and quietly out of his room to see Heechul in the dorm's living room, moving around, pacing. Why was Heechul here? He looked and saw on the couch, Leeteuk was asleep.
They had been sleeping on the couch together. He couldn't help but recall the kiss that happened earlier that day, but he brushed it off. Any fool could see Heechul was in love with Hangeng. Heechul didn't notice Yesung, however, so the man watched as Leeteuk woke up and looked at Heechul. The younger man looked at Leeteuk, bent down, looked at the older man's face, as if searching, as if Heechul was searching Leeteuk's face for something. Heechul had stood straight again, finally, tears started pouring. Yesung couldn't see them that well in the lighting but he knew the other was sobbing harshly.
Leeteuk had a grabbed Heechul and pulled the younger into his lap. Why were they even on this floor? They lived on the other floor. Then again. Donghae, Eunhyuk, Leeteuk, Heechul, and Shindong had all started to watch a movie. They probably fell asleep at that time. He heard Leeteuk whispering to Heechul, trying to calm the other's sobs. Finally, Leeteuk stated something no one could see from his face. "I feel the same way you do, Heechul." There was a silence in the room and finally Heechul looked Leeteuk in the eyes. Yesung wasn't expecting what he saw next. Heechul had cupped Leeteuk's face. He had kissed Leeteuk.
Over, and over, and over again. "Help me forget, help me forget." Heechul was shaking and he sound broken. Heechul was broken. Leeteuk had pushed Heechul off of him. "It won't work. You'll just feel guilty in the end. You will be plagued with thoughts of him, Heechul." Yesung wanted to run up to Leeteuk and ask "how exactly do you know that" but he stayed hidden.
Leeteuk had tears in his eyes. "I don't really know from experience, but trust me, Heechul. You can't forget. You won't forget. Just call him, everyday. Be happy you can at least stay in contact with him." Heechul had watched Leeteuk, and there had been worry. Pure worry for Leeteuk. "Are you going to be okay?" Heechul was still crying. "I'm fine," Leeteuk said with no longer, not even one trace of sadness. Yesung gives him credit. That's why he's such a good leader, he guesses.
"Could you at least lay with me, Leeteuk?" There was a grateful smile on Leeteuk's face. The two men lied together. Yesung walked away soon after their mumblings died down. He walked back to his room that night, looked at his roommate who was lying alone in his bed, and he pulled the sheet up lightly and slipped in behind the younger. Ryeowook had awoken, surprised. "I'm sorry for taking you for granted." Ryeowook didn't ask about it, he learned not to question Yesung.
Yesung looked at Heechul's retreating figure. "Hey." Heechul turned around to look at Yesung and Yesung saw something close to fear. Heechul doesn't want anyone knowing he's broken. "We should spend more time together." Heechul looks at Yesung suspiciously but he smiles, tries to cover it with a smirk, and agrees.
Yesung sees Heechul take out his phone and start texting someone. He doesn't think much of it and goes back into his room. He lies on his bed and Ryeowook enters the room. He lies with Yesung and the older smiles. "Hey, Ryeowook." There is the sound of something vibrating and it takes a while for Yesung to notice it's his phone on the nightstand. He picks it up and sees he has a text. From Hangeng?
Thanks, Yesung. Yesung smiles and replies "it's no problem" before he puts down his phone so he can lie with Ryeowook. He ignores his phone for now when it vibrates again.
Later when he goes to take Heechul out, he checks his phone and sees Be careful, broken things are hard to fix. It's sad, but true. Heechul looks at Yesung and questions what he's reading. Yesung shakes his head and just says "how have you and Hangeng been doing?" Heechul manages to not cry at certain points. Yesung knows he isn't the one Heechul cries in front of. It's Leeteuk. The two older men let themselves fall to pieces, break multiple times in front of each other. Yesung will be grateful, as long as he has Ryeowook, because he looks at Leeteuk and Heechul and knows he doesn't want this. No one would. Both are broken, alone and hanging desperately onto the past.
Though, Yesung guesses they're not so alone when they have each other, but he knows each other is not in their hearts.
A/N:This was not supposed to turn out so bad. Sorry!
