Summary: It's a new year, which means a new school year, and Hyukjae and his two friends-Sungmin and Ryeowook-happen to get into the school they applied for in their junior year. Now it is their last year of school and Hyukjae swears off dating. But what happens when the school's player, Lee Donghae tells Hyukjae they are family, and then starts to pursue the younger romantically? Dorm rooms, classes, new faces, perverted class mates and weird antics. Could his senior year be any more odd?
A/N: This seems to be such a typical plot, and I have a lot of other stories I need to finish, but I love making new stories. I'm determined to finish this one though~
The wind is blowing softly, nipping at the tip of people's noses.
It seems to be freezing and it would be crazy for any sane person to be out in this cold. Yet, there stood two boys-no, two young men-shivering, rubbing at their thin layered-clothed arms. "Well," a light voice asked, breaking the silence. "Well? Well... here we are, Sungmin." The man-Sungmin, as the other called him-smiled nervously, a nod following soon after. "We're here," he says, as if even though the other just said it, it wasn't true unless he confirmed it. There was a long silence between the two. They didn't move. The only thing they do is stare at the building in awe.
The wind blows a little stronger and the two men shiver.
A bit because of the cold, and a bit because of nerves. "Hyuk," Sungmin says, his voice had a slight tremor. When he got no answer, he finally tore his eyes away from the large building. Sungmin looked at the other male and pouted, his youthful face looking as innocent as that of a child. "Hyukjae?" It was louder than before and it cut the silence, successfully gaining him the attention he wanted. "Me?" Sungmin ran his fingers through his orange-brown spiked hair and rolled his eyes. "No, that dancing penguin behind you." It seems like he should be shocked when the other actually looks by him, but by now he's used to it.
"There isn't a penguin."
Hyukjae frowned. "Are you hallucinat... oh. That was sarcasm! Wasn't it?" Sungmin can't help but to smile when he sees the other grinning in triumph from pointing it out. "Yes, it was sarcasm." The orange-brown haired man runs his fingers through his hair again and he exhales and brings his attention back to the school. "Are you scare, Minnie?" He nods. "Are you?" Hyukjae looks at the large building with a foreboding feeling crawling in the pit of his stomach, and he nods shakily. He seems to pick up the other male's nervous habit as he threads his fingers in his newly dyed blonde hair. Sungmin smiles, trying to reassure himself and the other. They stand in another silence, both of their hearts beating rapidly. Suddenly a loud ringing sounds through the awkward silence.
Both men jolt in a bit of shock.
Hyukjae's head snaps in the other's direction. Sungmin fumbles around for a while, reaching in all different pockets until he finally pulled a cell phone out of his pants pocket. He looks at the screen of the device and he smiles softly, a little bit of his nerves disputing. "It's Wook." Hyukjae nods, waiting for something more to come. "He sent me a message saying he is in the dorms currently." The blonde man nods, slowly, his heart beating rapidly and that same feeling still crawling in the pit of his stomach. He can't shake it. He feels like something terrible is going to happen, but he blames it on the new scenery and decides to ignore it. "Minnie, you're so lucky."
The other looks at him with a bit of confusion.
Then he breaks out into a huge grin and throws his right hand in the air and forms a peace sign. "You're just jealous that I get to room with Wook and you have to meet someone new." The blonder nods sadly. "Yeah. I am. But it would've been so great if we could've shared a room." Sungmin winks. "It would be amazing." Hyukjae rolls his eyes. "Pervert." He fastens his hold on his things and inhales deeply. He steps forward with nervousness and uncertainty. "Come on," he says to the other. They both put on a brave face, and Hyukjae opens the door as he takes his first steps into his new high school, his new home, and his new life of opportunities.
