darthbatgirl's prompt "DC, Jason, stuck at one of Bruce's boring parties."

Jason drummed his fingers against the armrest of the plush chair he was lounging on. The tie was getting annoying, but he couldn't loosen because even while Bruce was busy with pretty (albeit mostly brainless) ladies, Alfred had an eye on Jason at all times. Jason bit back at a sigh at the way that man could multitask while serving canapes, keeping the guests happy, making sure Bruce wasn't playing his playboy persona up too much, and keeping Jason in line.
"It's not like I'm trying to get champagne this time," he muttered to himself.
"Well, don't you look bored," a voice purred next to his ear. "Bruce doesn't seem to understand this kind of party isn't amusing to kids your age."
Jason almost leaped out of his seat, but only his Robin training kept him from doing so. "I'm not a kid," he grumbled, looking up at the lady behind him.
Selina smiled. "Of course you're not, Jason," she replied, perhaps a little condescendingly. "You are definitely leaps and bounds more interesting than the other people here. Care to give me some entertainment until Bruce is free again?"
Jason quirked an eyebrow before glancing at Bruce, who was unfortunately entangled with Vicki Vale. "Gonna be a while, lady," he told her, not even bothering to keep up any sort of 'rich kid' act with Selina.
"It is Vale that he's trapped with," Selina stated, looking at her nails then rolling her eyes. "Are you going to keep me entertained or not, boy?"
Jason snorted before smirking. "Sure thing, Miss Kyle," he said coyly. "If you snatch me some champagne, I'll show you the grounds. The roses are in full bloom or somethin'."
Selina chuckled. "Hmm, I feel that's an even trade. I'll meet you on the balcony in five minutes," she said before she disappeared into the crowd.
With a smirk, Jason leaned back in his chair for a long, triumphant moment before sliding out of the chair and heading for the balcony.
