I'm not sure if I know if games are underrated or not...? I can tell you OVERRATED. Is that in this meme? *checks* Nope. Guess I won't say it. FINAL FANTASY VII! Ahem. Did you guys hear something? XD
I could list Final Fantasies before VII? Maybe the Ace Attorney games? My gut tells me to go with Final Fantasy II (the one with Firion, Maria, Guy, ect. not the one that's actually FFIV).
Why am I going with II and not VI? Because VI is more likely to be remade before II. FFII had an amazingly good storyline for the second game in the series and I should know, having had to play it so many times since it got stolen AND kept having corrupted data, fucking hell.
Also, it had an interesting gaming system: skill based level up. Okay, maybe it was a little annoying at first, but once you got the hang of it and understood it, it was an interesting level up system that hasn't been used since. :/
And, you gotta know from Dissidia how awesome the main character and villain are! Firion and the Emperor Mateus of Palamecia were amazing in a 3D setting. I'd love for this game to be remade, but it has a PSP release, so... It probably will be a long while.
