After Booster had befriended the new Batman, it didn't take long to figure out he had been Nightwing. Especially not after Bruce came back and took the cowl back, lifting a great weight from Dick's shoulders. After that happened, Dick started to patrol with Booster whenever he was in the right era.
Eventually Booster got curious since Dick's reputation precedes him. “I thought you liked redheads?” he asked one night on patrol.
Dick flipped out of a one of his one handed handstands to stand in front of Booster. “Huh?” he asked in confusion. “Yeah, I guess I do, but why ask?”
Booster blushed a bit. “Well, I mean... We've been...” he cut himself off in frustration. “I'm not a redhead.”
Dick just laughed. “Of course you're not,” he pointed out.
“Then why...” he trailed off when Dick grinned at him.
“Because you helped take the weight of the world off my shoulders for the few short months I was Batman,” he answered seriously. “I'll never forget that.”
Booster smiled a bit. “You helped me out, too,” he offered which made Dick grin, and Booster decided that Dick needed to grin more often.
