Maybe, in retrospect, chasing after Tim once they got back from the future and not being dead was a bad idea. Kon figured maybe he and Bart should have announced their not-dead-ness, so they wouldn't be in this situation, tied up by some vigilante they never met they obvious knew who they were, and he didn't seem to appreciate them 'pretending' to be dead heroes.

“But I am Kid Flash! Or was... Well, I didn't like being Flash anyway!” Bart shouted, trying to vibrate out of his ties, only irritating Kon who was tied up with him. “Lemme out, lemme out!”

Kon groaned. “Stop vibrating! It's not working!” he yelled, getting pissed of before turning to the guy who tied them up to begin with. “Can you please let us go?”

“No way,” Red Robin sneered. “You're pretending to be two dead-”

“Not dead!” Bart interjected, but he was ignored.

“-heroes, and I will not allow it,” he finished.

“You suck,” Bart muttered. “You're not a good hero if you can't figure we're really, really, really us!”

Red Robin didn't even twitch at the barb as Kon sighed. “Yeah, Kid Flash is right, so don’t quit your day job,” Kon muttered.

“This is my day job,” Red Robin deadpanned.

Kon and Bart shared a look before laughing, loudly. Kon got over the laughter first, and looked up at Red Robin. “Whoa, you sure you don't belong in Gotham, batty?” he asked, still laughing, but he did notice Red Robin twitch. “Oh my god, you totally are a bat!”

Bart stopped laughing at that to scrutinize the part of Red Robin's face before his eyes went wide. “It's Tim!” he announced, struggling. “Tim! Untie us! Pleeeeeease!”

Red Robin looked away from them as Kon struggled from the ties too. “C'mon, man, you know us,” Kon pleaded before pausing for a moment. “You know how we can solve this? Call Superman.”

Bart stopped struggling. “Hey, I thought you didn't wanna tell him you were back yet,” Bart murmured.

“Well, if it takes Supes to prove I'm not a clone, well not more of a clone than I already am...” Kon said before taking in a breath to shout, but Tim move almost as quick as Bart cover Kon's mouth with his hand.

“You will not be calling Superman,” he stated unhappily.

Bart scrunched up his face. “Why not?” he asked naively before his face fell. “Oh my god, Kon, I think Tim is evil.” He had said the last word in an almost whisper.

Kon rolled his eyes, moving his mouth out of Tim's grip, shaking his head. “Nah, Bart. I think he's running away.” Kon glared at him, and Tim stepped away. “Batman getting too be much?”

Tim's face hardened. “The Batman you knew is dead, and the new Batman and Robin are dead to me,” he stated evenly as he readied a grapple while letting the special ropes fall away form Kon and Bart before he fly off into the night.

Kon stood up, rubbing his wrists before gripping Bart's shoulder to stop him from chasing after Tim. “Kon, he needs us,” Bart whined petulantly, staring down the way Tim had gone. “Kooooon!”

Kon shook his head. “He needs us to have a plan,” Kon stated firmly before grinning a little. “So let's show him a plan.”

Bart blinked, confused then caught on. Bart grinned and zoomed off in the opposite direction that Tim went in, and Kon followed in suit.
