Robin is the worst character ever. thats why they keep killing him. Even the writers want him to die, but the comic would be lacking if batman just ran around not talking to anyone...okay, this kid? Kinda signed his death warrant. I have my period, he said that on my facebook on my video of my little Robin explaining Robins, so he's never going to ( Read more... )

... I think that person just explained why Robin is not the "worst character ever".

Conversely, this is possibly the silliest reason I've ever seen to say a character is "bad".

*nods* Dumbass. Boys at my college are so brain dead ('cept that cute boy who asked me to explain Robins to him, <3). This is why I'm not dating. I'm surrounded by idiots. *sigh*

Oh no, I've seen worse. I've posted about worse on this LJ about someone reviewing a game without playing it. *shudders* Idiots. Brainless drones.

I think this is hilarious. It makes want to mention the Bible, but I have no doubt that could potentially be highly offensive. But still. Hilarious.

Really? I've seen a whole lot of bad reasons for disliking a character, and I've experimented first hand a couple of them, but I honestly don't think I've ever seen something that made less sense. And while we're at, lol @ "writers keep killing Robin". Because two iterations of the character dying in 70 years of existence is obviously over the top.

Oooh! The BIBLE! I'm okay with anything highly offensive about THAT! *bitter ex-catholic school girl, what?*

Because two iterations of the character dying in 70 years of existence is obviously over the top.

YES! Exactly! And no offense to my favorite Robin and Steph; they weren't the best Robins at the time they were Robin. Jason became a better fighter when he came back to life (albeit a lot more violent), and Steph never really got the training she needed. :/ The 'good' Robins never died. *twitches* Okay, I'm done with that. *hugs Jason for ever saying anything slightly bad about him*

Also, there was a girl Robin, who also came back. That person is a moron. Clearly Robin is the coolest. <3 Timmy. And I love your mood picture :)

I think that person just issues with me and will attack anything I like. "this coming from the girl who knows all too well about sounding like an idiot" was his answer after I commented back. *rolls eyes* Boys.

Boys are stupid. Can't live with 'em.... yeah, that's about it.

Lol, agreed. Can't live with 'em, and locking them down in the basement for useful purposes is illegal. >>;; Only the pretty ones, of course, but still oh so illegal. <<;;

That's like, the most terrifying thought ever, zombie superheroes, cause nothing short of nuclear annhilation will destroy them.

Here's to hoping Blackest Night with that Death Black Lantern doesn't end up as DC's answer to Marvel Zombies. It'll just lead to angst. >>;;

Yeah, I think he's just being an ass because he hates me: "this coming from the girl who knows all too well about sounding like an idiot"

Like I care what this one jerk says. I just had to share how stupid he sounds though. Very mock worthy.

Ah, the Robin-haters! They're legion! And Nolanverse encourages anti-Robin talk. *shakes head*

[thread hijack incoming!]
Nolanverse also actively encourages just plain weird Batman interpretations. (Batman wants to... inspire people? Bruce Wayne with a gun? Letting someone die?... Sorry, what were we talking about, again?)

On a more positive note, your icon breaks my heart.

Yeaaah, and I don't much like the Joker interpretation either. The again, I won't enjoy Joker until I see them show Joker doing his more horrible things like kill Jason and shooting Babs. >>;;

It's not the Joker I imagine most often, but I have no issue with Joker interpretation. I think it was on old scans_daily that someone said they could imagine Joker basically waking up every day and choosing how he was going to act on that day. So one day Joker decided he was going to be an agent of chaos with the best planned agenda since basically ever. Okay, I can roll with that.

Unfortunately, I doubt Nolanverse will go there. (It should! It totally should! Jason would totally fit into Nolanverse!)
