DC newbie here, mostly. I need to read something of Jason that's not Battle (because I'm wanting someone to hand his ass to him on a platter grrr) or him stealing Dick's spot as Nightwing and murdering people.... or... yeah.

I have fic that's not about that! It's pretty much ALL my Jason fic. Just look through my tags in the sidebar.

Comic wise, Jason in his first few appearances was awesome, he's adorable in his few appearances in the New Teen Titans (seriously, flirted with Kory, lol and Donna threatened to spank him, more lol), Gotham Knights #43 is a really good interaction with Babs as Batgirl with Jason!Robin, which is cute. Jason is lovable, just DC handles him poorly. Fic does better.

...though, other than the crazy in BftC #2, they almost got Jason's personality down pat. I was happy, then they made it stupid.

...and I'll stop ranting, I swear! (Look at my Jason's Death Day challenge here. There's two tables full of Jason quotes, which are very amusing. ^-^;; )

I thought he was the cutest thing in NW:YO but omg. Battle. I'm torn between hoping Dick kicks the ever living CRAP out of him (ie, deaaaad...but for how long, i mean, c'mon. teh crazy. it keeps on coming back. just like in marvel!!!!) or that...well....dick kicks the ever living crap outta him (and does something non-letahl because we dont want our birdie broken anymore)

i need to finish nightwing....and then read GK. (unless my friend smashes me around into reading young justice first)

He was the cutest thing NW:YO! <3 He's a lovely. Yeah, BftC... I'm still hoping for an elaborate ruse. Tim was being an idiot, and he's the SMART Robin. Seriously. AND he broke Jason out of jail, so there had to be something more to that. Or I'm just trying to think DC's smarter than they are. >>;;

GK is preeeeetty. Omg, Young Justice! <3 That series is love. Pre-Crisis Jason shows up randomly in an issue but they kill him. ;-; Pre-Crisis Jason was such a Dick-copy, but before they retconned him, he almost got a personality...

Another okay read for Jason is Countdown. his interaction with Donna and Kyle is fun, sometimes.

been mostly afraid to jump into jla/jsa until i finish a few things (nw, outsiders, batman rip) but omg, roy. why do i always fall for the redheads? and the damaged pretties? and the goddamned fucking doomed pairings. roy and dick are so doomed. though, thankfully, not as doomed as steve and tony (marvel) or remus and sirius (harry potter) or roxas and axel (kingdom hearts 2) or or or ......goddamn i have a lot of doomed pairings. if i like them, it's a given its going to end BAD.

Omg, all those pairings? Mine too! >_<;; Well, I just like Tony/Steve because of one panel I saw, so when I jump into Marvel, that'll probably be one of my OTPs. >>;; But that one's not so doomed anymore. Marvel pretty much announced Steve's come back.

Not only do I share THOSE doomed pairings, I got Matt/Mello (Death Note), Kon/Tim(/Bart if I feel adventurous) (Young Justice), Piper/Trickster, and Blue Beetle/Booster. Every time I liked a pairing in DC, I find out at least half of the pairing is dead. X_x;;

o0 Since when has Marvel admitted Steve's coming back? Seriously, unless that goddamned teaser art is Steve coming back in July, I doubt it. And Tony's rapidly.. I'm shutting up. Major spoilers for current Iron Man arc. I hold out hope!! Though, really, I think I've just gotten used to it. All else aside, I want to crawl inside Bucky's pants. Yum

Well, I heard that's what the teaser star is. I mean, no one stays dead in comics PLUS, DC will be bringing Bruce back, so Marvel always has to have a counter. Kinda like when Bucky came back just after Jason did.

;-;! Really? Oh god, Deadpool/Cable was do fucking hilarious. And SO gay! It wasn't even TRYING to hide it! >_<;; Okay, Bruce/Clark? Totally canon as of JLA #31, I freaking swear. WW is talking to Supes about Bats, and he says that Bruce barely tolerated him. Diana's answer? 'You know that's not true, Kal. He loved you.' O_O;; ...when did Diana become a slash fan...? >>;;

Oh god, Final Fantasy. Zack/Cloud, why must Zack be dead! PW... Though, that one isn't QUITE as sad. 'Cept the fourth game, I guess.

See....I have no idea what that star means. But if that's them bringing Steve back, then I dunno.... Quesada is a bastard and really doesnt like Steve as Cap. Also, Brubaker has the Cap title for the next year or more....and he is way too in love with Bucky to give that up. I'm thinking (and a lot of fans think this) is they'll wait until 2011 when his movie comes out to bring him back. wouldn't do to have the headliner in a major money grossing film be DEAD for said film. I think it actually has something to do with the 50s Cap (who is now alive and kicking) trying even MORE to make himself Steve now that Steve is dead

Oooh! MOVIE! I wanted see Wolverine just for him, but I heard it's not worth the whole movie, so I'll just youtube his parts (plus, I'm horrible when it comes to seeing movies; took me two months to see the Dark Knight, and I had REALLY wanted to see that). I don't actually really like the big three (WW, Supes, and Bats), but Bruce/Clark is trying to get me to like it. ;-;

Oh god, before the Robins all over my LJ, I had Cloud over Zack from the end of CC. I went for very dreary black LJ to cheerful burn your eyes Robin and Nightwing colors. X_x;; *take Vincent's gun from the later games and kneecaps Hojo* And I have a Zack cosplay. I was re-doing it, so I should really finish that... >>;;
