The Dresden Files...
Got some unexpected (and somewhat unwanted) time off from work yesterday as the small one was under the weather. Unfortunately for dad, instead of nicely sleeping of his cold in his crib, he decided that any second he wasn't being held was a good excuse scream himself into a horrible coughing fit. Poor little guy.
Well, dad solved this by holding him for numerous long hours. So, what to do? Watch TV!
Lets see... what to watch... daytime TV... yugh.
Well, I've got the first 7 episodes of The Dresden Files (Sci-Fi, Sun 9pm ET) on tape, might as well see if they're any good. Result.. I actually enjoyed them quite a bit. I've only read one of the books, but the episodes seemed to capture the flavor nicely. A few of the characterizations are a little different that what I was expecting (Bianca especially came off as too sympathetic) but, oddly enough, I liked the TV show version of Harry better than my own mental image.
Has anyone else who's read more of the books seen/liked/disliked the show?
