So...

I can't help but feel like people are dropping the ball this school term. It seemed that by this time last year, we'd already had a few interesting events. Maybe something will happen soon...other than this light and dark war that seems to be going on in my room. It's exhausting and I don't even care about it.

i'm disappointed in the lack of gossip a

...Light fixture broken? You could always just let the sun dictate the reigns of darkness and light like in the old days. Or, you know, call maintenance.

Even if it were broken, it's not like we really need it in my room. One of my roommates and myself have powers based on light, the other roommate has a power based on dark.

So the room is perpetually filled with dim light. What's the problem?

If only. Dim light would be okay but the other two seem to be in a neverending war over just how light/dark the room should be and refuse to compromise. I think they're just annoyed at having the same name.

There's always an optimal level-- in the evenings, the room should neither too dark nor too light that it strain the eyes while doing desk work. Pitch black during the night. Lights on during the day to dispel shadows cast over reading material. Things like that.

Is it a mutually stupid name?

Perhaps I should set you down in a room with the two of them.

They're both named Hiroshi. Make of that what you will.

So I can dictate the level of light at all times? Mr. Bathroom Law Enforcer may be better at implementing rules if you need tips.

I wouldn't want to be named it, but it's an okay name, I suppose.

Why don't you both tackle the situation? Who knows, it might actually work.

If I am working with that guy, it will involve mentioning that the each of you carry some highly infectious disease so that he may issue a decree of quarantine between the three of you, as well as from the rest of the student body. That will solve all problems.

Leave my name out of it and go ahead. I'll find other lodgings while he's got my roommates under quarantine.

I really don't care that he has the same name as me. He doesn't even use the same kanji for his anyway.

And I care about that why?

You're the one who brought it up like it's something that's cared about.
